The project "Co-operation between Public Administration in Cross-Border regions of Croatia and Hungary for Serving Citizens Better (CATCH)"
The State Administration Office of Osječko-baranjska County is one of the beneficiaries of the project"Co-operation between Public Administration in Cross-Border regions of Croatia and Hungary for Serving Citizens Better (CATCH)". The opening ceremony of the project was held on July 27, 2017 in Kaposvár (Hungary).
The project will be implemented under the INTERREG V-A Hungary-Croatia 2014-2020 Cooperation Program. Cross-Border Cooperation Program Hungary-Croatia 2014-2020. is one of the European territorial cooperation programs that occupy an important place in the instruments of the European Union's cohesion policy. The aim of the program is to contribute to the development of relationships between the project beneficiaries and to ensure increased efficiency administrative procedures and protocols of all partners.
The main beneficiary of the project is the Government Office of Somogy County (Hungary), while the other users are the state administration offices from the Međimurje County and the Osječko-Baranjska County. The project was supported by the Ministry of Administration of the Republic of Croatia and the Office of the Prime Minister in Hungary. Implementation of the project will last 16 months during which the working groups will make an assessment of the needs among the civil servants and to business entities, to gather opinions on certain professional subjects, and to summarize the experience and good practice of public administration system.
The opening ceremony was attended by State Secretary Darko Nekić in front of the Ministry of Administration, Viktória Zöld- High Deputy State Secretary in front of the Prime Minister's Office, Zsolt Neszmény, Government Commissioner in Front of the Government Somogy County office, Norbert Bíró county president Somogy county, Branimir Posavec- the head of State Administration Office in Međimurje County, Mario Burek, in front of the State Administration Office in Osječko-baranjska county as well as members of permanent working groups of all partners.
